Last year in Detroit, GM's former VP of production, Bob Lutz revealed his latest project : a Fisker Karma is powered by a V8 engine's Corvette ZR1 called Destino VL.
VL Automotive is the latest venture Lutz and the true automotive enthusiast knows how much she loves the appearance of Karma. He just felt the car has a powertrain that is wrong. While Fisker is currently disappearing from the automotive world, Lutz and co. is preparing to reveal the latest version of Destino in Detroit, this time with a convertible form.
Partnering with Katzkin leather specialist automotive, Lutz claimed that " a beautifully designed car like Destino deserve exceptional interior . " Lutz was also once a senior adviser Katzkin . Along with the new interior, the car itsel, by drawing sketches were released, appears to be a two-door convertible with a folding hard top.
