As a promise to change the limited edition A1 Quattro into a more bona fide production models , Audi has launched a new S1 ahead of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2014.
While referring to the Audi S1 rally car like its predecessor , in common with the A1 Quattro is very clearly visible . S1 offers a new 2.0 -liter 4-cylinder engine turbo -powered 228 hp and 272 lb - ft , six - speed manual transmission and a Haldex - style multi - plate clutch four-wheel - drive system .
It also comes with an electronic diff lock is incorporated in a two-stage ESC system and a new suspension set up . Audi claims 0-62 mph acceleration in 5.8 seconds and a top speed limited to 155 mph .
Standard equipment includes 17 -inch alloy wheels , 310 mm front disc brakes , Xenon headlights , LED tail lamp , wider side sills , a new bumper , and four new color . Part optionally includes a roof spoiler , 18 -inch alloy wheels with red brake calipers , MMI sat nav and Bose surround sound system .
