Ahead of its global debut at the New York Auto Show that will begin a few weeks more, BMW M4 Convertible was revealed online. We all probably already familiar with the M4 and M3 Coupe new sedan, convertible and this completes the trio.
like his brother, M4 Convertible is also supported by the I6 engine 3.0-litre twin-turbo power produces 425 Hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. the BMW provides a choice of six-speed manual transmission or the transmission seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
As is usually the case, this convertible is heavier version of the coupe, specifically 4055 lbs vs 3530 lbs. it's actually not too bad and BMW quickly showed that they managed to reduce the weight of this new car by 90 lbs. compared to previous, E93 M3 convertible.
In addition, BMW also managed to increase cargo room behind, with a total of 13 cubic feet with a roof mounted and 7.8 cubic feet when the roof folded. The folding Hardtop which carried this car is three-piece unit that can be lowered in 20 seconds at speeds up to 11 Mph.
